Network science and its practical implications

This special lecture will provide a broad overview of the implications of Network Science for modern management thinking and practice.

This event is offered to the entire CEU Business School community and is open to the public. It is part of a series of lectures to introduce and explore new dimensions of management thinking and practice. We are extremely pleased that Professor Kertesz, a leader in the Network Science field and a member of CEU’s world-renowned Center for Network Science will be speaking at our school on this important and pacesetting topic.

Janos Kertesz, is a Professor at CEU's Center for Network Science and is Director of CEU’s PhD Program in Network Science. He was recently awarded the Szechenyi Prize by Hungarian President Janos Ader. This award honors those who have made an outstanding contribution to academic life. He is a Hungarian physicist, and a leading scholar in the fields of application of fractal geometry to physical problems, statistical physics and its applications, computational methods, complex systems, and Network Science.
